COVID19 is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome. It was first identified in December 2019 and has since spread globally. As of May 25, 2020, more than 5.47 million cases have been reported across 188 countries, and more than 2.22 million people have recovered.

“The bottom line is that the best way to protect ourselves from coronavirus —whether it’s surface transmission or close human contact — is still social distancing, washing our hands, not touching our faces and wearing masks.”

Ask Well, the New York Times
